Be careful what wood flooring you buy
We have had many complaints from people who have bought the oils from us but the wood cheaper somewhere else only to find they cannot achieve the finish they want. If you have bought your floor from somewhere else please do not ask us for a coloured sample because unless you buy our oak floors it will never look the same as the sample. Samples of our coloured oak floors will only look the same on the finished floor if you buy our unfinished boards.
We specialise in working closely with Architects and Interior designers which has led to our high quality designer wood flooring. Extensive investigation has led us to determine the best wood finishing oils for any finish you wish to achieve. Timberex oils for finishing wood floors is the best on the market and if we can achieve the colour you want with these oils then we always recommend this route. The main reasons for this are
Ease of application which means there is a reduced risk of the application going wrong whoever does it
Very quick drying time which means reduce finishing costs and a quick turnaround
Natural products used to make the oils, no fossil fuels or nasty chemicals
Very competitively prices and normally works out as the cheapest option
Long lasting and very easy maintenance with the specially formulated Mousse cleaner
The second choice oil we use is Blanchon, a traditional French company where we can achieve a greater variety of coloured oak floors. They have exceptional wood ageing agents similar to Timberex Lut but have a wider range of colours |
